City of Truesdale holding prescription drug take-back event
Truesdale Police Chief Casey Doyle announced at the April 24 board of aldermen meeting that the city would be hosting a prescription drug take-back event on Saturday, April 27. 
Members of the Marthasville Fire Protection District hosted several Missouri rural fire department personnel Saturday, April 20, to donate used fire equipment to their departments. The MFPD recently received a FEMA grant to replace fire hoses and nozzles and didn’t want to waste used ones if they were needed. A total of nine departments participated, including Bakersfield, Calhoun, Caulfield, Gainesville, Grandin, Licking, Moody, Pottersville and Tecumseh fire departments.
