Patricia "Kay" Bowles

Ms. Patricia "Kay" Bowles (nee: Purcell), of Warrenton, passed away on Wednesday, April 24,  in Lake St. Louis, surrounded by her family. Patricia was born in Shelbyville, IL on November 09, 1937, to the late Raymond and Julia (nee: Furr) Purcell. She had reached the age of 86 years.

Kay was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She enjoyed dancing and listening to music. Kay loved "bling" and enjoyed doing Diamond Art. She would often share her art with everyone. Kay never met a stranger. She was an avid TOPS (Taking Pounds Off Sensibly) member. Kay was always on the go. She would have her bags ready for a good trip anywhere. Kay never missed a party, and being with her family and friends is what meant the most to her. She had a big heart and loved everyone.

Those that are grateful for having shared in Kay's life are her daughters, Mona Gardner and Carrie Bradshaw; one daughter in law, Robin Biggs; her dear siblings, Michael Purcell, Charles Wood, Debbie Williams; her cherished grandchildren, Jim (Carie) Biggs, Willie (Alex) Biggs, Jimmie (Whitney) Draper, Lori Swick, Josh Sikes, Michael Lodatto, Tony (Sarah) Lodatto, Christine Draper, Michael (Cassandra) Draper; great-grandchildren, Nathan (Danielle) Biggs, Andrew (Meghan) Biggs, Draven Mayo, Olivia Biggs, Maddison Biggs, William Biggs, Jr., Sean Biggs, Grace Biggs, Matteo Biggs, Amya Biggs, and Hannah Biggs, Warden Lodatto, Copper Lodatto, Kamryn Lodatto, Aaliyah Lodatto, Jasmyn Lodatto, Ty Lodatto, Davion Anderson; great-great-grandchildren, Lane Biggs, and Brandon Bote Biggs II; and a host of dear friends and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Julia Purcell; husband, Henry (Hank) Bowles; sons, Michael and Tom Biggs; sisters, Ann Sisco, and Mary Ann Pontious; brother-in-law, Clifford Sisco; and two son-in-laws, Bryan Gardner and Mark Bradshaw, Sr.

A visitation for Kay will be held from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1st, with a 6 p.m. Celebration of Life Service to immediately follow at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Memorial donations may be made to an organization of donor’s choice c/o Martin Funeral Home in honor of Kay.
