Owen Thompson shot a 2-over par 37 to win medalist honors in a home dual match April 4 at Warrenton Golf Course. The Warriors shot a 176, six strokes better than North Point.
Ethan Leavittt and Gavin Thompson followed each with a 45, while Carter Tittle shot a 49 to round out the team score for Warrenton. Lucas Eskew also shot a 52 for the Warriors.
The day before, Warenton fell by 10 strokes to Orchard FArm at Eagle Springs (195-185). Owen and Gavin Thompson each shot a 46. Alex Jeffords of Orchard Farm shot a 45 to win top honors. Others who played for the Warriors were Leavitt (48), Eskew (55) and Gavin Solari (57).
