Despite a tough season-ending loss in district play, the Warrenton boys soccer team’s 2025 season was nothing short of significant.  The Warriors finished at 14-9, their second straight winning season and their best record since 2009, when they finished 15-9.  Warrenton’s season ended on Nov. 4 with a 2-1 loss to Lutheran St. Charles in a Class 3, District 4 quarterfinal match. The Warren County Salary Commission approved a $14,000 pay raise for the coroner’s position to take effect at the next election pursuant to a new state law. According to County Commissioner Matt Flake, who was appointed the chair of the salary commission during its Nov. 4 meeting, the state of Missouri passed legislation, in the form of Senate Bill 1, which allows approval of up to $14,000 in additional salary for the position of coroner. more

The Liberty Christian volleyball team capped off a successful season with a fourth-place finish at the MCSAA Division I State Championships on Oct. 25.  The Eagles went 3-2 in the tournament, defeating Heartland, Overland Christian and Lighthouse Prep Academy in two sets.
