A 53-year-old Wright City man died following a motorcycle accident Tuesday on Highway 47 south of Toebbens Lane.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol traffic accident report, a 53-year-old Wright City man was traveling northbound on Highway 47 around 3:25 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, riding a 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan when he failed to negotiate a left hand turn in the roadway and traveled off the road and struck a dirt embankment and overturned. The driver was fully ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced deceased at SSM Health St. Joseph.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of the occupants involved in injury crashes.
