Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a residence in Warren County in the early morning hours of May 18 with a “caller in imminent danger,” according to the probable cause statement filed by Corporal Michael Pelton.
The victims reported that Troy Mann, 35, of Warrenton, had woken up and was destroying things around the house.
According to the probable cause statement he also threw a pitcher full of a drink on one victim and threatened to kill her. A second victim also stated that Mann bit them.
Victim 1 stated Mann stepped toward her swinging the bat after destroying items around the residence and she feared for her life and fled before calling the police.
A witness corroborated these statements saying they saw Mann “swinging the bat everywhere,” according to the probable cause statement.
Mann admitted to throwing the drink on victim one and was charged with third-degree domestic assault, first-degree harassment and armed criminal action, all felonies. Mann also has two prior domestic assault convictions in Warrenton in 2008 and 2009.
A warrant was served for his arrest and he is to be held without bond.
