A Cuba, Missouri, truck driver was seriously injured in a tractor-trailer rollover crash Tuesday, Sept. 29, in Marthasville, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at approximately 2 p.m. on southbound Highway 47 south of Pecan Drive, when the 2015 Freightliner Coronado the man was driving ran off the right side of the road and overturned. No other vehicles were involved, according to the MSHP crash report, which does not note any cause of the crash other than the truck running off the road.

The driver, a 64-year-old Cuba man, was not wearing a seat belt, according to the crash report. He was transported by Marthasville Ambulance District personnel to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for treatment. The truck was totaled.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of the occupants involved in injury crashes.
