Carlos Ramirez-Antonio, 26, of Warrenton, was charged with second-degree burglary, resisting arrest for a felony, both felonies, and second-degree tampering with property, a misdemeanor, on April 29, according to the probable cause statement filed by Warren County Sheriff’s Deputy Robert Smythe.
Officers began a search for Ramirez-Antonio on the morning of April 29, as he had an outstanding warrant for resisting arrest. Officers located him and told him he was being placed under arrest at which point he fled on foot, according to the probable cause statement.
Ramirez-Antonio ran into a residence, locked the door behind him and hid inside. Officers later found him hiding under a pile of clothes in an upstairs bedroom closet, according to the probable cause statement.
A warrant was issued for his arrest and he is to be held without bond.
