Robert Leesman, 54, of Warrenton, was charged with first-degree burglary, a felony, in connection to a September 2024 incident.
According to the probable cause statement filed by Warren County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Whittington, on Sept. 3, 2024, officers were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence in Warren County.
Whittington made contact with two victims who stated several individuals had forced entry into their home, ransacked the living room and punched one of them in the face.
Two of the suspects were identified on scene, while Leesman was identified later via footage obtained from a neighbor, according to the probable cause statement.
When officers made contact with Leesman he admitted to being involved in the situation, according to the probable cause statement. He said they had forcibly entered the residence to retrieve a juvenile family member and harm the adult male she was with.
While the pair were not at the residence when Leesman arrived, he claimed “he intended to kill the male,” if he was there, according to the probable cause statement.
A warrant has been issued for Leesman’s arrest and he is to be held without bond.
