Grason Nenninger, 41, of Troy, was charged with trafficking drugs in the second degree, aggravated fleeing of a stop or detention, both felonies, and driving while his license was revoked or suspended, reckless driving, and speeding between 20-25 mph over the speed limit, misdemeanors, in October 2024.
According to a probable cause statement filed by Foristell Police Officer Robert Welsh, he conducted a traffic stop on Nenninger on Oct. 9, 2024, to investigate license plates that did not match the vehicle’s registration.
Nenninger then led Welsh on a chase before crashing his vehicle and fleeing on foot, according to the probable cause statement.
A search of the vehicle found two plastic bundles of white crystalline substances that were later confirmed to be 35 grams of methamphetamine, according to the probable cause statement.
Welsh also reported Nenninger has driving while revoked convictions in Montgomery County, Lincoln County, Wentzville, St. Charles County, St. Louis County and Troy.
The complaint filed along with the probable cause statement also reported Nenninger is a persistent drug offender and had previously been convicted of distribution of controlled substances in St. Charles County and possession of controlled substances in Lincoln County, both felonies.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest and he is to be held without bond.
