A woman with apparently fake US documentation was arrested Aug. 17 and charged with forgery following a traffic stop in the area of Westwoods Road and Bell Road.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy was traveling south on North Stracks Church Road, when he observed a vehicle with no front license plate. He stopped the vehicle and made contact with Candida Sebastian, 32, Warrenton, who did not have a valid driver’s license. Sebastian was detained and a search of her vehicle was conducted which turned up a U.S. permanent resident ID card. While at the Warren County jail the deputy asked how long she has been in the U.S. and if her identification was legitimate. Sebastian responded that she has been in the U.S. for approximately four years and that she entered the country illegally, according to the affidavit.
