The Warren County Prosecutor’s office have issued criminal charges in three separate child sex abuse cases that allegedly occurred in 2019 and 2020.
In the first case, Preston S. Clark, 19, of Warrenton, is charged with statutory sodomy of a person less than 12 years old. Clark allegedly asked a juvenile female to perform a sexual act on him in September 2020, according to a court document from the Warrenton Police Department.
Police interviewed Clark about the allegation, and reported that he admitted to the details of what he had been accused of. A warrant has now been issued for Clark’s arrest, with no bond allowed until he is seen by a judge.
In the second case, Guy R. Hoffman, 35, of Warrenton, is charged with two counts of first-degree child molestation. Warrenton police allege that on multiple occasions in 2019, Hoffman committed acts of sexual abuse against a juvenile female who was less than 12 years old at the time.
Police allege that while officers were collecting evidence from Hoffman’s home, Hoffman made an incriminating statement about not being “in the right mental state” in relation to one of the accusations.
Hoffman was arrested July 25, and Judge Richard Scheibe ordered that he be held without bond.
In the third case, 79-year-old Charles Rollings was arrested and charged with statutory sodomy. The victim in the case, who was less than 12 years old at the time, told investigators that Rollings had touched her inappropriately while she was visiting his home in the Warrenton area in December 2019.
After the incident was reported, a Warrenton police detective interviewed Rollings, who allegedly admitted to the contact with the juvenile. Rollings was arrested July 27 and is being held in jail without bond.
