Wright City has a new reason to celebrate as local resident Diana Geiger has been crowned Ms. Missouri Outdoors 2026 at the statewide competition held October 4–5 at Peach Tree Farms in Eolia, Missouri.
Diana proudly represented Warren County and made history by becoming the fourth woman from Wright City to capture a state title in the Miss Missouri Outdoors Pageant system. She follows in the footsteps of past hometown winners: Abby Thomas (Miss Teen Outdoors 2016, Miss Missouri Outdoors 2018), Meagan McCloud (Junior Miss Outdoors 2016), and Allison Thomas (Junior Miss Outdoors 2018).
Diana also took home the Talent Award for her original and heartfelt presentation, “Quilts: A Showcase of Missouri,” celebrating the artistry, tradition and storytelling power of quilts across the state.
“I’m so proud to represent Missouri, the state where I was born and have always lived,” said Geiger. “I’d love to share my journey and this adventure with others, and encourage more women to connect with the beauty and history around them.”
In addition to her passion for public presentation, Diana enjoys swimming, cheerleading, sand volleyball, jet skiing, crafting, and relaxing at home watching TV with her pups. Among her favorite Missouri spots are Branson, which she calls her “little mini vacation,” and Lake Taneycomo, where she loves to fish. She also enjoys paddleboarding and kayaking at Creve Coeur Park, taking full advantage of the outdoor life Missouri has to offer.
“Diana is a natural storyteller and leader,” said Sydney Spiller, pageant director. “Her passion for Missouri, her creative talent, and her warm spirit make her a wonderful representative for the Ms. Missouri Outdoors title. She’s carrying on a proud Wright City tradition.”
The Miss Missouri Outdoors Pageant is a unique statewide event that blends the best of pageantry with hands-on outdoor education, leadership development, and conservation awareness. Contestants participate in workshops like fishing, archery, interview skills, and public speaking, and compete in interview, talent/speech, evening gown, and on-stage question and answer categories.
With a mission to promote Missouri tourism, state parks, natural resources and history, the pageant gives women and girls of all ages a platform to advocate for the great outdoors and the state they love. Held annually at the scenic Peach Tree Farms, the event also includes festive fall favorites like a haunted hay ride and other family-friendly activities.
