The Wright City Fire Protection District held its annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, Oct. 5, distributing roughly 600 pancakes to attendees, according to Captain Scot Gibson. Firefighters were also there at the event to speak about their ballot measure, Proposition F, an $11 million bond issue that will be in front of voters during the Nov. 5 election.
With its passage the district hopes to build a new Station 1, and make other capital improvements.
