Mrs. Willer Mae Day (nee: Owens) of Wright City, passed away early Saturday, June 13, 2020, at her home. Willer was born on Nov. 26, 1934, in Wright City, to the late Richard and Martha Owens. She had reached the age of 85 years, 6 months and 18 days.

Willer was united in marriage to Arthur Eugene Day on July 29, 1966. To this union two children were born, Paula and Donald, and she was also blessed with a step-son, Arthur. She was a supporter of the Wesley Smith United Methodist Church in Wright City. Willer enjoyed cooking for and spending time with her children and extended family. She was an avid tea cup collector, which she enjoyed very much. She liked watching game shows on TV, going to the casino and was especially fond of the Pittsburg Pirates baseball team. Willer enjoyed playing bingo with her friends and she also enjoyed going out to eat.

Willer Day was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; her parents, Richard and Martha; one son, Donald Day; four brothers, Wilford Owens, Pearl Owens, Irvin Owens, Paul Owens; two sisters, Melba Edwards, Mary Owens. She is survived by her daughter, Paula Day, and step-son, Arthur Day, both of Wright City; granddaughter, Shannon Zykan; four sisters, Daisy Owens, of Wright City, Susie Dierker, also of Wright City, Shirley Moore and husband Clifford of St. Charles, and Sharon Owens of Warrenton; three brothers-in-law, Charlie Edwards of Wright City, Charlie Day of Troy, and Jesse Day of St. Louis; two sisters-in-law, Ernestine Day of Lake St. Louis, and Lucille Day of O'Fallon; one birthday niece, Salena Edwards; one aunt, Daisy Mozee of Wright City; many nieces, nephews other family members and close friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Willer Mae Day will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020, 10 a.m. to noon at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will also be Friday, June 19, 2020, beginning at noon. A burial will follow at Wesley Smith Cemetery in Wright City.
