Warren County Sheriff's Deputy Andrew Whittington was dispatched to a disturbance in Warren County on the evening of Sept. 3 where he made contact with two victims who said their residence had been burglarized and they had been assaulted in the process, according to the probable cause statement.
The victims stated multiple individuals entered their residence and "destroyed the living room" before assaulting one of the victims.
They described one of the suspects as a short, while male wearing red, later identified as Austin Kramer, 27, of Warrenton. Whittington stated he located one of the other suspects who was able to identify Kramer. The suspect described the incident as vigilantism stemming from an incident involving a juvenile female relative of Kramer.
Kramer has been charged with burglary in the first degree, a felony, and assault in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
