Students in fifth through eighth grade from St. Vincent’s Catholic School served donuts and coffee to first responders on the morning of Jan. 27, as part of Catholic Schools Week. The school’s student leadership team was in charge of the event. Placemats were drawings made by the students. Core values to be exhibited by the students were faith, love, leadership and service. Students were encouraged to have conversations with the first responders and learn about what they do on the job. Personnel from the Marthasville Fire Protection District and Marthasville Community Ambulance District participated in the event.
First responder agencies were invited to lunch with students at St. Ignatius Catholic School as part of Catholic Schools Week on Jan. 27. Personnel from the Marthasville Fire Protection District, Marthasville Community Ambulance District and the Warren COunty Sheriff’s Department visited with the students during lunch time.
