Two Warrenton teenagers, both 16, along with a 55-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman, both from Villa Ridge, were involved in a two-car accident in Franklin County on the morning of Jan. 4, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The teenagers were traveling on Missouri Route 100 in Franklin County near the intersection of Route T when they struck the front left side of the Villa Ridge man's vehicle, according to the patrol.
The Villa Ridge man's vehicle then overturned off the right side of the road and came to rest in a ditch. The teenagers' vehicle came to a stop on the road in the middle of the westbound lanes, according to the patrol.
Both teenagers received minor injuries in the accident while the driver and passenger from Villa Ridge were both moderately injured.
The teenager who was driving was the only one not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the patrol.
All four individuals were transported to Mercy Hospital Washington via ambulance.
