On May 31, Sergeant Andrew Whittington of the Warren County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop in Warren County on a vehicle for failing to use a turn signal and stopping in the middle of the road.
One of the passengers, Becky Ipock, 43, of Truesdale, told officers she had an active warrant for her arrest and the occupants of the vehicle consented to a search, according to the probable cause statement filed by Whittington.
The search revealed 44 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 10 grams of suspected fentanyl, and preliminary field tests of both substances confirmed those suspicions.
Ipock told officers she had purchased the drugs with the intent to sell them, according to the probable cause statement.
The suspected controlled substances were seized and sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol for analysis.
Ipock was charged with one count each of first and second-degree drug trafficking, both felonies.
A warrant was issued for her arrest and she is to be held without bond.
