Members of the Thomas Kennedy Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met with the Warrenton Board of Aldermen to present them with additional military banners to be placed on light poles on Booneslick Road and Highway 47 in the city.
The banners commemorate Revolutionary War veterans who are buried in Warren County including John Wyatt, John Chambers, Flanders I. Callaway, John F. Skinner, Thomas Kennedy, Daniel Boone, Daniel Bryan, Maj. Benjamin Sharp, Jemima Callaway, William Smith and James Bryan.
Alderman Christine Wait thanked the women for their efforts and the banners have now been placed on light poles along the streets in Warrenton.
