Marilyn Foster, 77, Warrenton, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019. Marilyn is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth Foster, of Warrenton; daughter, Tabitha Seel and her fiance, Bill, of O'Fallon; sister Marce Weiss, of Lincoln, California; grandchildren, Christopher, Molly, Kyle, Chase, Briana, Kate and Will; two nieces, Stephanie Berger and Heather Weiss, of Lincoln, California. She was preceded in death by her father, Orville Gegel; mother, Hilda Gegel; grandparents, Henry and Margaret Gegel and Emma Martens.
Marilyn was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church, retired from church office administrator, served on the altar guild, member of the Ladies Aid, loved planning and escorting bus trips for church members and friends, was a trained Stephen Minister and certified Alzheimer's Support Group Facilitator. She loved to travel the USA and Canada on long trips with Ken, loved animals, teapots, playing dominos, quilts, and antiques. She was known for her apple pies and cookies. Marilyn was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Warrenton, from 9-11 a.m.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 20, at the church, at 11 a.m.
