Mrs. Margaret "Peggy" Ena Cotner (nee: Mullaney), of Warrenton, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at her home. She was born on May 29, 1940, in Greensboro, VT., to the late Crawford and Arlene (nee: Laird) Mullaney. Peggy had reached the age of 82 years.

Peggy was united in marriage to Clyde Cotner on May 2, 1959, in Perryville. This union was blessed with four children, Terry, Cathy, Todd, and Christina. Peggy was a homemaker and loved caring for her family. She was a talented person who enjoyed crocheting and making jewelry. She also enjoyed playing the piano. Peggy was active in Holy Rosary Catholic Church and had been a member since 1975. She enjoyed being in her kitchen, baking and cooking for her family. When Peggy was younger she participated in "off-road" Jeep racing. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Peggy Cotner was preceded in death by her parents, Crawford and Arlene Mullaney; one son-in-law Kenny Niemann. She is survived by her loving husband, Clyde Cotner; her children, Terry Cotner and wife Kelly, Cathy Niemann, Todd Cotner and wife Suzann, Christina Kuhlo and husband Luke; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Carrillo and husband Fermin; many other relatives and close family friends.

A visitation for Mrs. Cotner will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 4, at 10 A.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A burial will follow the Mass at Warrenton City Cemetery. Memorial donations made in honor of Peggy are to be made to St. Jude's c/o Martin Funeral Home, 510 East Main, Warrenton, MO 63383.
