Kikkoman Foods Inc. presented Warrenton Police Chief Larry Ellard with a $10,000 grant at the Oct. 1 Warrenton Board of Aldermen meeting. Kikkoman Foods Inc. has operated in Warrenton for the past two years and Operations Supervisor Frank Ashby was on hand at the meeting along with Warrenton Plant Manager Taro Nagatani to present Chief Ellard with the check.
“Kikkoman is proud to be a part of the city of Warrenton,” said Ashby. “We’re always exploring ways in which our presence will benefit the community.”
Ashby went on to say that Kikkoman takes pride in contributing to the communities it works in and wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to give back to the Warrenton Police Department.
“We know that the law enforcement of Warrenton works diligently to serve and protect its citizens and the community as a whole, … As a token of our gratitude and in recognition of the men and women who serve Warrenton on the Warrenton police force, we would like to present the contribution of $10,000 to Chief Larry Ellard to benefit the Warrenton Police Department.”
