John Wayne Riggs, of Wright City, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, at his home with his family at his side. He was born on April 24, 1937, in Bragg City, MO to the late Covie and Ona Mae (nee: Spence) Riggs.
John Wayne Riggs was preceded in death by his parents; one son, David Riggs. Surviving family members include his loving wife, Shirley; his son, Gary; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and close family friends.
The family of John Riggs will host a Celebration of Life Visitation on Monday, December 16, at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton from 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12 P.M., also at the funeral home. A Committal Service will follow at the Wright City Cemetery in Wright City. Memorial donations are suggested to be given to the American Cancer Society c/o Martin Funeral Home.
