Beloved Father and Grandfather. George Gilbert Lawrence 82 of Foley, passed away peacefully on December 23, at St. Joesph Hospital in St. Charles. George was a Korean War Veteran. Mr. Lawrence was retired from Coca-Cola where he worked for 3 years, and Boeing where he worked for 35 years.
He is proceeded in death by his parents; William Lawrence and Fay Fetzer nee DeWeese; sons Kreg Lawrence, Daniel Sinklear; Daughter, Amy Lawrence; sisters Carol (Frances Darlene Cook) DeWeese, Sharon DeWeese.
He leaves behind his Daughter, Renee Maupin of Moscow Mills, Brothers, Gary (June) DeWeese of Columbia, William Bass of Foley, Sisters, Cathy (Stan) Randel of Kansas City, Diana DeWeese of Kansas City, Pam (Jerry) Crist of Kansas City, Grandchildren, Miranda, Alissa, Mackenzie, Cylee, Tristyn, Kayli, and April. Great-Grandchildren, Atticus and Nattie.
A visitation will be held Thursday, January 4, from 2:30 P.M. to 6 P.M. at Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 5, at 9:30 A.M. also at Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville.
