Florissant man charged with harassment, trespassing in Warren County

Posted

Kyle Bornemann, 30, of Florissant, was charged with one count of first-degree harassment, a felony, and three counts of first-degree trespassing, a misdemeanor, in Warren County on May 12.

The charges stemmed from incidents that took place earlier this month as the victim had a protection order from the victim that had recently expired and had arrived at the residence demanding to speak to her multiple times in recent weeks, according to the probable cause statement filed by Warren County Sheriff’s Deputy Ethan Dillon.

Bornemann met the victim over a year ago and began sending her explicit messages and was asked to stop, at which point he began showing up at her residence.

He was asked by the victim’s family to stop coming to the property and was given a trespass warning from the Warren County Sheriff’s Department and the victim obtained a protection order, according to the probable cause statement.

Once that order expired he began coming to the residence again, visiting three times before deputies arrived while he was still at the property.

There is also video of Bornemann at the property on the two other instances according to the probable cause statement.

The victim stated she did not wish to press charges on Bornemann for harassment but said he had “absolutely” caused her mental distress, according to the probable cause statement.

The victim’s parents were also listed as victims in the case and did want to press charges.

A warrant was served for his arrest and he is to be held without bond.
