Dennis Flake, 68, Jonesburg, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019. He is survived by his beloved wife Rita Flake nee Driskill, of Jonesburg; son, Michael (Kelly) Flake, of Jonesburg; daughter, Lindsey (Neal) Dieckmann, of Warrenton; son, Michael P. (Stephanie) Freebourn, of Troy; three sisters, Linda (Chad) Stewart, of Jonesburg, Madge Flake, of Truesdale, Patricia Kammeier, of Wentzville; two brothers, Joseph Flake, of Jonesburg and Paul (Kim) Flake, of Montgomery City; 7 grandchildren, Taylor, Taylor M, Ryan, Carson, Addison, Wyatt, and Anna.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Flake; mother, Myrtle Flake; brother, David Flake. Dennis was a past member of the Jonesburg Lions Club, member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Quail Ridge Horse Shoe Pitching Club and Montgomery County Water Board. Dennis enjoyed farming, bailing hay, gardening, fishing, going to auctions, growing tomatoes playing guitar, spending time with his buddies but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Monday, Dec. 30, 2019, at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton, from 1:30 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 31, also at the funeral home, at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, Warrenton.
