The Warren County Commission is inviting community members and organizations to submit funding requests for money supplied by the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021.
Warren County has been allotted a total of nearly $7 million in ARPA funding, according to previous reporting by The Record. The Warren County Commission has now decided to make that funding available to outside agencies, individuals and businesses.
According to a recent announcement, any funding request will be accepted for consideration by submitting a written application in-person at the Warren County Clerk’s Office at the County Administration Building in Warrenton. Funding applications will be accepted until June 1. Applications must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the name of the entity or organization.
Commissioners have not specified any stipulations for what kinds of funding applications will be prioritized or awarded funding. A three-person volunteer committee will assist the commission in assessing the merits of each application.
Those who submit funding requests will be contacted after June 1 to state their case for funding.
For any questions, contact the Warren County Commission at (636) 456-3045.
