Residents, volunteers and friends of the Bethel Hills Community in Dutzow celebrated the opening of Villa Five during a ribbon cutting Sunday, June 23. Villa Five includes four apartments and two activity spaces. People of all abilities are welcome at Bethel. Director Billie Kramme said the current renovated facilities are now full. New building projects cannot take place until the property is rezoned. She said every week people come to Bethel looking for a home for a family member. Kramme said a current project is to continue to sell tax credits for concrete and asphalt work on the community's roads and driveways. Anyone who owns businesses, rental properties or has farm income can purchase tax credits to help with the project. Kramme said there is no way Bethel could exist without the skilled tradesmen and volunteers who give so much of their time to the community.
