Beginning in January 2025, an Alzheimer’s support group will be meeting monthly to give both caregivers and their loved ones an opportunity to share with others and their loved ones who are experiencing dementia.
The support group, sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association will meet at College United Methodist Church in Warrenton on the second Friday of the month from 9:30-11 a.m.
The group will meet as one for 10-20 minutes of brief discussion and will hear from invited guest speakers. It will then break into two separate groups, one group of caregivers and the other of individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
Interested parties can contact Doug Kraus at doug@collegemethodist.org or call the church office at 636-456-3390. Individuals must be preregistered to attend.
