Leyton Trentmann, 5, and his little brother Leo, 2, enjoyed sitting in the Santa sleigh Saturday, Dec. 6. Each year Marthasville firefighters visit neighborhoods in their district, bringing Santa along for a pre-Christmas visit. The final Santa visit day will be Saturday, Dec. 13 beginning at 8 a.m. Neighborhoods scheduled include Concord Hill, Holstein, Treloar and Dutzow.

A mainstay building in Marthasville is again filled with laughter and cheer thanks to the work of Gabe Bockhorst and his wife Sherri.
The Preserve Marthasville is a new spin on a historic theme.
According to Gabe Bockhorst, the building was originally built in the early 1900s as Mittler Hall. The building is located at 105 W. S Street in Marthasville across from Lichtenberg Park.
