The accident took place in the late evening of June 20.
Dillon Welch, 26, of Wright City was traveling south on State Highway H in Lincoln County on his 2024 Kawasaki Ninja when he was unable to maintain control through a curve to the left, according to the crash report.
From there, the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned, ejecting Welch.
Welch received moderate injuries and was taken to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis by the Lincoln County Ambulance District. His motorcycle was damaged extensively and was removed from the scene by Priority Towing.
