The Warren County Health Department offers fitness classes to all levels, even to beginners. The goal is to get people moving.“We want people to ‘Live like your life depends on it,’ ” said Ruth Walters, with the health department.“Nearly seven of 10 Missourians who die each year will die of a chronic disease. Cardiovascular disease, diabetes and cancer are among the most common and costly, yet preventable, of all health problems,” Walters said. “Sometimes we perform preventive maintenance on our cars, but forget to do those things that can keep our bodies ‘running’ in good condition. Invest a little time in your health to keep yourself in good running condition so you can live a longer, healthier life.”The Warren County Health Department hosts the Community Fitness Center, located at 1000 Outlet Mall, Suite 2, in Warrenton.
