Ruff placed second in the 190-pound weight class. Ruff won his first three matches of the tournament to advance to the championship match. Ruff dropped an 8-4 decision to Luca Riley of Belton in the championship match.
Ruff earned an overtime victory in the semifinals earlier Saturday. Ruff secured a two-point reversal with just three seconds left in the third overtime period to beat CJ Nelson of Van Horn 14-13. Ruff gained an early 7-0 lead in the first period with a takedown 15 seconds into the match and a pair of near falls later in the period. Ruff led 10-6 in the third period but Nelson tied the match with five seconds remaining in regulation. After Nelson scored one point in the second overtime period, Ruff earned two points for a reversal with three seconds remaining in the third overtime period.
Lohrmann placed sixth in the 126-pound weight class. After winning both his matches Friday, Lohrmann lost three matches Saturday and placed sixth in the weight class.
