Turning Point, which provides emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children, needs supplies.While Turning Point does receive government assistance, it could not support families as comprehensively as it does without donations it receives in cash, gift cards and supplies.The shelter is in immediate need of:• Toilet paper,• Paper towels,• Shampoo,• Conditioner,• Deodorant,• Body wash,• Towels, washcloths,• Cleaning products, and• 66-quart storage totes.Donations may be mailed to: 501 E. Main St. No. 426; Warrenton, MO 63383. Please include a note so the organization can thank you for the donation.Turning Point hopes to provide donors with convenient drop-off locations in the future. To be a drop-off location call the shelter.Turning Point serves individuals and families in Franklin, Gasconade, Lincoln, Montgomery, Warren and western St. Charles counties. Turning Point’s goal is to help survivors and their children learn to overcome the cycle of abuse.The nonprofit organization provides a 24/7 hotline, emergency shelter, court advocacy, safety planning, economic empowerment, counseling and resource education to victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse and sex trafficking.
