Tiger Docks is moving its new headquarters, manufacturing, sales and retail facility to Wright City.Tiger Docks provides development, design, and construction solutions to the marine construction industry.“Wright City warmly welcomes Tiger Docks to our business community and I would like to thank Karen Girondo, our board of aldermen, and the Greater Warren County EDC for another job well done,” said Mayor Dan Rowden of Wright City.“Economic development is a priority for our community and it is exciting to see what we can achieve when we work collaboratively for that purpose,” he said.The company, which will bring 25 jobs to start, closed on the purchase of a 40,000-square-foot industrial building located at 35 Cooperative Way.“Although we have enjoyed being in the O’Fallon area, we are extremely excited to transition to a new facility that is being built to the specific needs and current demands of Tiger Docks’ daily operations,” said Chrissy Davis, Tiger Docks CFO and director of communications.Tiger Docks CEO Nick Davis said, “Wright City was a pleasure to work with and we are very excited about the move.”The Greater Warren County Economic Development Council (GWCEDC) and city of Wright City began working with the company in the fall of 2017 under the code-name “Project Nick” to maintain project confidentiality.“On behalf of the Greater Warren County Economic Development Council, I want to thank Tiger Docks for choosing our region for this exciting project,” said Wayne Baker, president of the GWCEDC Board of Directors. “This project brings new jobs and new investment that will benefit our entire area. We greatly appreciate the partnership and support of the elected leadership and staff of Wright City, along with the real estate team and property ownership, leading up to this great announcement.”Tiger Docks will start renovations immediately. They plan to be fully operational at the new location by the end of 2018.It was founded in 1995 in Lake Saint Louis. It is a multi-million-dollar enterprise servicing the continental U.S. with sales across the globe.Business Bits
