A Warren County man is charged with murder after another person was fatally beaten Monday night in Warren County.Emergency responders were called to a home on Baumann Lane around 10:15 p.m. Monday to aid an “unconscious person,” according to an arrest report. The home is in the area of Reifsnider State Park.When Warren County sheriff's deputies arrived, they found a victim identified as Timothy Van Dillen with blood pooling around the right side of his head.The sheriff’s department said an autopsy revealed the victim had suffered 11 different blows to his body, including one to the right side of his head. He suffered a fractured skull and massive brain bleed, which was identified as the cause of death.Deputies arrested Scott Van Dillen, 53, who they said was found at the home with blood on his boots. The suspect allegedly admitted to kicking Timothy Van Dillen multiple times in the head.Information about the relation between Scott and Timothy Van Dillen has not been released.Court records identify the location of the alleged murder as Scott Van Dillen’s residence. He is charged with second-degree murder, and has a $250,000, cash-only bond.Crime
