Donations Sought The NDAA is calling on prosecutors and their associations and staff to donate and help Kaufman County Crime Stoppers find the individual or individuals responsible for the murders of the McLellands and Hasse. “With these donations we hope to increase the reward to a level where someone will choose to come forward with information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the killings of these three fine people," Wright remarked. Donations may be made in thee ways: Checks written to the Kaufman County Crime Stoppers should be sent to P.O. Box 261, Kaufman, TX 75142. Go to www.kaufmancountycrimestoppers.org and click the “Support Us” button on the left. That links to a page with a “Donate Button” on the top right which then links to a PayPal account page. People will need to have a PayPal account set up to donate through this link. Significantly larger donations can be wired to the beneficiary account set up with the American National Bank of Texas. A link to bank wiring instructions can be obtained from Jean Hemphill, NDAA director of communications, at jhemphill@ndaa.org. “It is a sad day in the loss of Mark, Mike, and his wife Cindy but at the same time a proud day for prosecutors across the country in showing solidarity and stepping forward for victims and justice ... like we do everyday," Wright remarked. "Doing the right thing for the right reasons. Just another reason I am proud to be a prosecutor and proud to be a part of the greatest organization of prosecutors, the National District Attorneys Association.”
