Mary H. Walker of Warrenton passed away on June 11, 2022, at the age of 88. Mary was born August 29, 1933, in Cora, IL, to the late John and Mary Suchman nee Shields.
Mary was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and volunteered at church for many different activities, one of which was cleaning the church. Mary enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, and Cardinal baseball. Family was the most important thing to Mary. She loved her children and of course her 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Mary is survived by four children, Cynthia Walker of Allen, TX, Debra Walker of Warrenton, Stephen Walker of Concordia, MO, and Karen (Jerry) Underwood of Sweet Springs, MO; 8 grandchildren, Scott (Jaclyn) Mispagel, Krista Huntsman, Korra Walker, John Walker, Eric (Shelbi) Underwood, Holly (Matthew) Hutchinson, Hayley Underwood and Heather Underwood; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Linda) Walker of Dresden, TN, and Charles Harrison of Hickman, KY; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wilbert F. Walker; brothers, John, Jim, Les, Paul, Wayne, Robert, Gabriel and Simon Suchman; sister, Iona Suchman; and sister-in-law, Brenda Harrison.
Visitation for Mary will be held Monday, June 13, 2022, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will be held the following day, Tuesday, June 14, at 2 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Warrenton. Interment will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
