A Marthasville teen, 16, rolled her car trying to avoid an animal in the road while traveling on Highway 47 just south of Marthasville, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
When she came across the animal, she swerved and lost control of her vehicle. She then ran off the left side of the road where her vehicle overturned.
She received minor injuries in the accident and was transported privately to Total Access Urgent Care in Washington, according to the patrol.
She was wearing her seat belt in the accident.
