Marthasville City Clerk Tara Dorymeyer has left the city and taken a new job in the private sector.
Her role has been filled by Deputy City Clerk Ravin Kersting, serving in the interim.
According to Mayor David Lange, Kersting plans to step into the city clerk role full time, and they are considering hiring additional part-time help to supplement the office.
Dormeyer, who served in the position for three years, accepted a position in the private sector citing an increase in pay.
"I don't discourage if someone has the opportunity to better themselves, I encourage it," said Lange.
He also thanked her for her time and work with the city.
