Authorities have issued a felony charge against a Wright City resident for possession of child pornography.Stephen C. Ingram, 58, was charged after cyber investigators got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. According to a report filed with the Warren County Prosecutor’s office, a Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputy working with the St. Charles Cyber Crime Task Force received the tip for images of child pornography uploaded to an online account from a computer in the region. Authorities received the tip April 7, 2017.The images were uploaded using a Yahoo Flickr account. An inquiry with the internet service provider associated with the account identified Ingram as the customer.A search warrant was executed at Ingram’s residence in Wright City June 8, 2017. A computer found at the residence allegedly contained 27 images of child pornography.Ingram was later located in St. Charles. Ingram reportedly admitted to downloading images of child pornography to his home computer, which then uploaded the images to his online account.Ingram is charged with a Class B felony, punishable five to 15 years in prison if he is convicted.Crime
