Lola Grace House

Lola Grace House passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 89. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles House of Warrenton.

She is survived by her two sons, Ed (Maria) House of Louisville, KY, Brian (Sheila) House of Wentzville; daughter, Judy (Charlie) Roden of Camdenton, MO; six grandchildren, Chelle Hunter, Rich Roden, Adrian Cohen, Beatrix Kamakah’i, Donald Whiteside, Barbara Williams; sister, Naomi Taylor of Cottleville; 12 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, William Edward Giles, mother Lola Blanche Giles (nee Ball), husband Charles House, sister Pauline Tucker-Geisel, sister Christine Haller, sister Virginia Giles, sister Doris Wachter, brother Frank Giles, brother Leslie Giles.

Lola was a member of the Warrenton Church of God. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, and baking. Lola loved to sew, crochet and quilt. She also crafted angels in her free time. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 1, from noon to 1 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 904 S. Highway 47 in Warrenton.

A funeral will be held December 1 at 1 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home

She will be interred at the Warrenton City Cemetery.
