State Sen. Jeanie Riddle is one of 20 state lawmakers to receive a 100-percent rating from the Missouri Chamber of Commerce for their pro-business voting record in 2017.

Riddle will be among those honored at the Missouri Business Awards on Nov. 16 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.

“To rate our elected officials, the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry has graded the members of the current General Assembly based on how they voted on the most important issues in 2017 and in their cumulative years in office,” the Chamber stated in its rating announcement. “These issues included civil justice, economic development, education and workforce development, environment, taxation and budget, labor, and unemployment insurance.”

Riddle has received a career-average rating of 92 percent during her nine years in office.

State Reps. Bart Korman and Bryan Spencer also received ratings from the Chamber. Korman, whose legislative district includes Warrenton, Jonesburg and Marthasville, received a 56 percent rating for pro-business votes during the 2017 legislative session. However, he has a career rating of 80 percent over his seven years in office.

Spencer, whose district includes Wright City, Innsbrook and Foristell, received an 83 percent rating for the year and has a career rating of 88 percent over five years in office.
