Mr. Larry Olen Cromer of Rocky Mount, MO, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. He was born on July 2, 1947, in Overland, MO, to the late Harry and Betty (nee: Jett) Cromer. Larry had reached the age of 74 years.
Larry served our country in the United States Army. After returning home from the Army, Larry was united in marriage to Anna Lee Barr on August 24, 1985, in Branson, MO. To this union, 5 children were born: Sandra, JoAnne, Timothy, Talia, and Yolanda. They celebrated 35 wonderful years together. Larry enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and camping with his family. He was a devoted family man and loved his family very deeply. He was very outgoing, very strong in his opinions, and was not timid in expressing those opinions. Larry will be remembered as a very genuine, caring, and loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend.
Larry Cromer was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Betty; one brother, James Cromer; one sister, Patricia Mortenson; and one aunt, Edith Cromer. Those who remain grateful for having shared in Larry's life are his loving wife, Anna; his children, Sandra Cromer (Michael Ehren), JoAnne Curtis (Rusty), Timothy Cromer (Jamie), Talia Scott (Mike), and Yolanda Hannick; 14 grandchildren, Mason, Samantha, Bobbie Sue, Krysteena, Dennis, Rusty, Alex, Jessica, Dakota, Taylor, Hailey, Kayla, Dillon, and Dalton; 18 great-grandchildren; 5 siblings, Harry Cromer (Nancy), Edward Cromer (Erma), Leonard Cromer, Mary Weckherlin (Chuck), and Melissa Cromer; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
A visitation for Mr. Larry Olen Cromer was held on Thursday, February 3, 2022, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services were also held on Thusday, beginning at 12:00 PM with Pastor Steven Kohler officiating. Burial followed at the Warrenton City Cemetery.
