The Warrenton girls basketball team accomplished three of its goals it set at the start of the season.
Now members of the Warriors are celebrating some postseason honors.
Senior Nevaeh Hill was named the Gateway Athletic Conference North Division Player of the Year and senior Sophi Mueller was selected to the second team.
Warrenton finished the season with a 19-8 record and won the GAC North for the second consecutive year. Two of the team’s goals were to have a winning campaign and win the conference crown. The third goal was to win the school’s home tournament, which it also did.

Mueller also had a strong statistical season, second on the team with 9.3 points and 5.6 rebounds.
Hannah Logan was named GAC North Coach of the Year.
Sophomore Zoe Duncan earned the team’s Sportsmanship Award.
Players named to the all-academic team were the senior duo of Isabel Benke and Mueller, sophomores Savannah Miller and Makenna Faubion, and freshmen Makayla Witthaus and Sophia Benke.
