Warrenton rebounded from an 87-64 opening round loss against Jamestown and beat Chamois 63-41 in the consolation semifinals at the 40^th annual Hermann Holliday Tournament on Thursday.The Warriors extended a 21-11 lead after the opening period to 37-20 at halftime and finished with 10 players scoring; including a game-high 12 points form senior Jake Tonioli. Senior Blayne Prenger and junior Nolan Chmiel, making his season debut, joined him in double figures with 11 points apiece.Chmiel made three of Warrenton’s nine threes with Tonioli and Brady Nelson each adding two and Brett Smith and Curtis Taylor-Cissel both making one.The win improves the Warriors to 6-12 overall and sends them to the consolation championship where they’ll take on New Haven (11-6) at 4 p.m. Saturday.Wright City, which fell to the top seeded Bearcats 66-31 in its tournament opener, dropped to New Haven 58-43 in the consolation semifinals Thursday.Bryant Lucio had a game-high 18 points for the Wildcats.
