Three Wright City football players and one Warrenton football player were picked to participate in the 2024 American Cancer Society All-Star Football Game on Dec. 14 at De Smet Jesuit High School.
Hunter Bohannan, Mason Wendt and Kayden Allison of Wright City were selected for the game, while Warrenton’s Kyle Lauck was picked.
The ACS All-Star Game selects top high school football seniors from around the area to showcase their skills one last time, while honoring cancer survivors and raising funds and awareness to help combat cancer. Fundraising is not mandatory for the event, but encouraged.
Wendt, Bohannan and Lauck were selected to be on the red team, while Allison was picked for the white team. So far, Lauck has helped raise $918 and Bohannan has raised $26, according to ACS.
