EQUIPMENT TRAPPED — Utility equipment parked near the Katy Trail in Marthasville was caught in the flash flood after approximately four inches of rain fell Sunday night into Monday morning, August 26.

DOWNTOWN FLOODING — Flash flood waters covered the majority of Depot Street Monday morning, August 26, closing it down to traffic. Several of the basements of homes and businesses along Depot Street were flooded. The Marthasville Volunteer Fire Department was on hand to help pump out some of those basements.

BALLPARK SURROUNDED — The Marthasville Community Ballpark was surrounded by water early Monday, August 26, after approximately four inches of rain fell overnight. Pecan and Depot streets were closed for a time, making it difficult for the morning commute. Highway D east of Marthasville, Boone Monument Road, and Highway 94 west were also covered by flood waters.
