Job opportunities are coming to the Wright City area soon, officials said.“Progress is being made with the EPC industrial building. In one to two months, they will be moving in,” Karen Girondo, economic developer, said.EPC, Inc., which safely and securely handles out-of-date IT equipment, is relocating its St. Louis County location to Wright City. The plant will open with 70 to 90 employees.“Some people will be coming with them from their plant in St. Louis County, but not all of them. They will be hiring,” Girondo said.DrivewaysThe city is reviewing complaints that sewer lines might be to blame for two damaged driveways in the Trotter’s Ridge neighborhood.City Clerk Christine Martin said two homeowners believe the sewer lines are to blame for the collapse of their driveways. She said the city is reviewing the matter.As part of the review, the city will look at the condition of other driveways in the immediate area. SignageMartin said the city is adding signage in strategic areas to direct semitrailer drivers to the Wright City Industrial Park. She said the signage is designed to deter semitrailer drivers from making turns in tight areas where they are often getting stuck or driving through and damaging residential yards.Wright City
